EDUCATION
Dr Lebese holds a Phd in Agricultural Sciences from the Stellenbosch University which he acquired in 2007. In 2002 he obtained MSc in Agriculture from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. In 1998 he attained a BSc in Agriculture at the National University of Lesotho (NUL) and a Diploma in Agriculture from the Lesotho Agricultural College in 1995.
CAREER
Dr. Lebese’s career started in 1998 when he joined the National University of Lesotho as a Teaching Assistant. He was later promoted to the positions of a Lecturer and Senior Lecturer in the Crop Science Department of the University from 1999 to 2013 respectively. From 2013 to 2015 he worked as Horticulture Manager at World Bank. From 2015 to 2017 he worked as an Entrepreneur, Community Worker and Motivational Speaker for Youth.
Dr. Thabiso Lebese is the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Education and Training.
